Counselor for Last Name A-L

Hello! My name is Linsey Balmos and I am in my 20^th year of education.  I grew up in Mason, a small town on the edge of the Hill Country and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2004 (Wreck ‘em Tech!). That same year, I began teaching 6^th grade mathematics in Blanco, TX. In 2013, I moved to BHS to become the one and only high school counselor. My husband, Scott, and I met while in Blanco and we’ve been married for 17 years.  After receiving a call from Coach Haire to come coach football with him, Scott and I decided to move our family to this wonderful community of Salado. Leaving our home after 15 years has definitely been a challenge, but the wonderful, kind people we have met here in Salado have helped us all during our transition. I am looking forward to raising our children as Salado Eagles!

The most important thing I have done in my lifetime, is work as a Mom.  Coach Balmos and I have three children. Ryder is a 8^th grader and Harper is a 6^th grader at SMS, Karter Claire is a 1st grader at TAE.
